3D cell culture in our lab: We will choose a perfect hydrogel for your cell line by seeding cells on panels of LifeGels with different parameters of hydrogel (hardness, density, elasticity). We can perform 3D cell culture with selected or individually developed culture media.

You receive the results of our work: description of microscopic observations with photos, data about cell viability, individually prepared cell culture protocols with suggestions about the best hydrogel for your particular cells. We can carry out other specific assays at your request (e.g. staining, drug sensitivity testing).

In our lab: We will carry out an mechanical disruption and enzymatic tissue digestion to get single cells. We will culture your PDX on selected LifeGel hydrogels and standard or individually developed culture medium.

Single cell cloning in suspension

When you want to avoid cross-contamination from old cell lines, animal cells or other DNA.

You choose your cell line (adherent or non-adherent) and send it to us. If necessary, we will adapt your cell line to suspension growth and find the right cell culture media which will be later applicable for GMP manufacturing.

Single clone selection phase: Your cell line now adapted to suspension growth will receive additional supplements for single clone selection. At this stage you have to decide how many cells you want to attempt the selection with – we suggest 1000 single cells to give a high chance of obtaining good working clones.

 

We are using our own proprietary method of establishing clones from single cells.

Obtaining the necessary number of cells from clones – increasing the scale of culture, and reduction of cell selection media to a growth media.

Pharmacokinetics research on LifeCube

LifeCube is innovative device which allows you to expose 3D cell structures to more pharmacologically relevant drug dosing regimens.

 

The device recreates the drug concentration profiles recorded in the clinic using programmable pairs of pumps.  Not only can the relevant PK profiles be applied to 3D cells to mimic typical injection or infusion strategies, but multiple dosing schemes over several weeks can be simulated and compared.

 

This platform will help define the most effective chemotherapy strategies for specific cell types based on choice of drug concentration and administration frequency.
